Veridos' New Sample Passport 'Evolution'
Identity documents have always developed in step with the societies they serve. As passports have moved from primarily functional travel documents to expressions of national identity, cultural heritage and technological progress, their security concepts have advanced as well.
Today, the passport remains a powerful expression of this development. It belongs to one person, but it also represents a nation. It enables movement, proves citizenship and embodies the trust that allows border crossings. For issuing authorities, this makes the passport far more than a technical identity document. It is a national statement, a security instrument and a design object in one.
Veridos' new sample passport, Evolution, makes this idea tangible. Its narrative follows the evolution of life on Earth: from early organisms and the ammonite motif through prehistoric landscapes, human development, modern technologies and future perspectives on identity. The concept shows how design, materials and security technologies can be integrated from the outset, making security features part of a cohesive story.
