What is GDHCN and How Does It Work?
The World Health Organization’s Global Digital Health Certification Network (GDHCN) is a digital public infrastructure for verifying health credentials across borders. It grew from the European Union’s Digital COVID Certificate trust framework, which WHO adopted in 2023 as the first building block of a global system.
