ODDS 2027 – Registration Open
The programme for Optical & Digital Document Security™ (ODDS) 2027 has been confirmed and registration is open. Taking place at the Berlin Marriott Hotel, Germany, from 25–27 January, the conference will examine developments across physical, digital and virtual document security through eight technical sessions.
The programme connects research into optical features and materials with the practical challenges of authentication, personalisation and identity protection. A keynote from Prof Marian Margraf of Freie Universität Berlin will open the main conference, followed by presentations on the fourth edition of the publication 'Optical Document Security' and collaborative research involving the Reserve Bank of Australia.
Dynamic optical features form a substantial part of the programme. Contributions cover next-generation microperforation from Orell Füssli, plasmonic colour animations from Authentix, synchronised colour and motif effects from Giesecke+Devrient, and engineered microstructures and nanostructures from SURYS-IN Groupe. Advanced materials presentations include SICPA's SKYLIGHT™, TOPPAN Security's CHROMA and nanostructured colour from China Banknote Printing and Minting.
