ODDS 2027 Invited Speaker – Brett Scott

The Optical & Digital Document Security (ODDS) conference has announced author, campaigner and monetary anthropologist Brett Scott as an invited speaker for ODDS 2027, taking place in Berlin from 25-27 January.

Scott will address delegates on 'Are You Ready for the Digital Backlash? A New Vision for the Phygital Future' – a deliberately challenging examination of one of the assumptions that have shaped technology policy and investment for the past two decades: that an increasingly digital future is both inevitable and universally welcomed.

Scott is a former financial broker whose work examines the intersection of money, technology, politics and society. He is the author of 'Cloudmoney: Why the War on Cash Endangers Our Freedom' and 'The Heretic's Guide to Global Finance: Hacking the Future of Money'. He also publishes the 'Altered States of Monetary Consciousness' newsletter.
